Flamingo Country Club provides the ideal base from which to explore the Bodrum peninsula. We recommend Ozzie car rental (www.carrentalbodrum.org) for getting around the peninsula, or you can use the local bus service which is cheep safe and fun. The central hub for the bus service is Bodrum town where you can catch other buses that can take you all over the peninsula. The cost of a typical journey is around 3-4 Turkish Lira so even extensive use isn't going to break the bank.

Just five minutes drive away from Flamingo Country Club is the impressive new Vita Park Golf Resort, comprising of two world class golf courses. The Milas and the Halikarnas both a par 71 golf course. www.vitaparkgolfresort.com. Vita park also has it's own driving range, pro shop, clubhouse and restaurant. The Milas-71 is a pay and play course open to non members so make sure you bring your golf clubs on your next visit.
